Turkmen jihadists recently posted photos of their fighters operating inside the Yamadi Refugee Camp near the Turkish border-crossing into the Latakia Governorate.

These pictures confirmed Russian military reports that the Syrian opposition fighters were turning refugee camps into bases in order to launch attacks against the government forces in Latakia.

The Turkmen jihadists displayed photos of the wreckage from a recent Syrian Arab Army (SAA) missile attack from the nearby Zahia Mountains on their headquarters inside the Yamadi Refugee; this assault destroyed three armoured vehicles. The Syrian opposition has accused both the Russian and Syrian governments of attacking refugee camps near the Turkish border; however, the latter has argued for a long time that jihadists are using these sites to launch attacks.
