DAMASCUS, SYRIA (8:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has given the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) and Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (formerly Al-Nusra Front) one month to surrender the Yarmouk Refugee Camp or else they will begin a massive military operation.
According to an Al-Masdar field correspondent in Damascus, the Syrian Arab Army demanded the complete surrender of the Yarmouk Camp after both the jihadist rebels and Islamic State terrorists refused to adhere to the previous ceasefire terms which had them leave this district.
The Islamic State currently controls more than 50 percent of the Yarmouk Camp, leaving only a small portion near the Palestine Camp under jihadist rebel control and the entire north with the Syrian Arab Army.
In the past, the Syrian Arab Army has refrained from entering the Yarmouk Camp; instead, they allow the Palestinian wing of their army (Palestine Liberation Army) to carry out the attacks against the enemy combatants.
