DAMASCUS, SYRIA (5:45 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAYF) continued its aerial campaign against the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) in the Deir Ezzor Governorate on Tuesday, targeting several sites that belong to the terrorist group around the province.

One of several air battalions began the day by targeting the Islamic State’s defenses west of the Panorama Roundabout, destroying at least three armored vehicles that were mounted with anti-aircraft machine guns.

While launching airstrikes over the Panorama Farms, the Syrian Air Force reportedly struck one of the Islamic State’s command-and-control centers, killing the aforementioned terrorist group’s top intelligence chief in Deir Ezzor, “Abu Mazen,” and his associates.

Following the airstrikes west of the Panorama Roundabout, another air battalion hammered the Islamic State’s defenses in the Al-Hamidiyah District of Deir Ezzor City, hitting several targets near the river bank.
