DAMASCUS, SYRIA (8:45 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels of Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (formerly Al-Nusra Front) woke-up to a loud explosion on Saturday morning, when one of their most important command centres was destroyed by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the Yarmouk Camp District of southern Damascus.
Using a tunnel bomb, the Syrian Arab Army detonated their explosives under the Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham commander centre, killing several members of this jihadist group on Saturday morning,
According to an Al-Masdar field correspondent, the explosion could be heard all over Damascus, causing many people to panic over the proximity of the sound.
Following the massive explosion, the jihadist rebels launched an attack against the pro-government Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC) and Fatah Al-Intifada in the northern sector of Yarmouk Camp.
Intense clashes are still ongoing at the moment between the opposing parties; however, no gains have been reported by either side.
