DAMASCUS, SYRIA (3:00 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAYF) carried out several airstrikes over the east Aleppo countryside on Monday, targeting a massive convoy of reinforcements from the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) that were attempting to make their way towards the Kuweires Military Airport.

According to an Al-Masdar field correspondent, the Syrian Air Force destroyed a convoy of 7 technical vehicles that were carrying several Islamic State terrorists from Deir Al-Hafer to the Tal Al-Sous area of east Aleppo.

Some of the vehicles carrying Islamic State terrorists managed to escape the Syrian Air Force bombardment, reportedly returning to the Deir Hafer Plains on Monday evening.

The Islamic State was attempting to send this massive convoy of reinforcements to the Kuweires Airport front in order to combat the massive build-up of Syrian Arab Army soldiers at this imperative military installation.

In the coming weeks, the Syrian Arab Army is expected to launch a massive military operation in the eastern countryside of Aleppo after a long hiatus due to the jihadist offensive on the provincial capital.
