Yousaf al Salafi is believed to be the Pakistani commander of Islamic State. It was reported that he was arrested on January 22, 2015. In reality, it appears he was caught a month earlier and held without notifying the world.
The cause of this delay may have been strategic, perhaps professionals agreed to conceal the news until the proper time. That is not an unrealistic idea but it doesn’t happen to be the truth. Al Salafi had quite a lot to say in captivity and much of it was information Obama and his administration did not want anyone to hear.
Many may automatically link Saddam Hussein, al-Qaeda, and the attacks of 9/11 with the group ISIS (Islamic State of Israel), otherwise known as IS (Islamic State) or ISIL (Islamic State of Israel and the Levant). ISIS originally did emerge in 1999, pledging its allegiance to al-Qaeda and participating in the Iraqi insurgency following the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
In 2014, ISIS began referring to itself as Islamic State (IS) instead of its previous name of Jama’at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad. At the same time they proclaimed themselves as a caliphate, claiming religious, political and military authority over all Muslims worldwide.
This powerful new organization quickly gained fame as it drove Iraqi government forces out of key cities and captured the city of Mosul. ISIS demonstrated their strength during the Sinjar massacre when they slaughtered 5,000 men.
By December 2015, the Islamic State covered a vast territory in western Iraq and eastern Syria, with a population estimate of 2.8–8 million people. Ruling over these millions, IS enforces its interpretation of sharia law.
They are now believed to be operational in at least 18 countries across the world, including Afghanistan and Pakistan, with “aspiring branches” in Mali, Egypt, Somalia, Bangladesh, Indonesia and the Philippines. Recruits and small cells have even emerged in the United States.
ISIS is widely known for its videos of beheadings of both soldiers and civilians, including journalists and aid workers. Amnesty International has charged the group with ethnic cleansing on a “historic scale” in northern Iraq.
At some point after al Salafi’s capture, whenever it actually occurred, he began revealing secrets behind his group’s reign of terror. An inside source close to the investigations divulged, “Yousaf al Salafi revealed that he was getting funding – routed through America – to run the organization in Pakistan and recruit young people to fight in Syria.”
Al Salafi is a Pakistani-Syrian, who entered Pakistan through Turkey sometime in 2014. It was originally thought that he crossed into Turkey from Syria and was caught there. However, he managed to escape from Turkey and reached Pakistan to establish IS in the region.
When he was finally caught, his statements revealed a real life nightmare for America, “recruiting people with a Pakistani accomplice to send them to Syria and was receiving around US$600 per person.”
The thought of our government, paying $600 for each ISIS recruit is a terrifying one. Those who are paying attention realize that it is merely details to what we have known; Obama supports ISIS just as he supported the Muslim Brotherhood.
Obama often speaks of Islam and their faith. He weakly condemns terrorist and then piles praise on the Muslims. He claims the majority of Muslims are not “radical” and that their religion is one of peace. Anyone who has read the Quran, their holy scripture, would question that. There may be controversial verses in the Bible but people are not committing violence every day in the name of Jesus Christ.
Over 50 U.S intelligence analysts have formally claimed their reports on Islamic State and al-Qaeda’s branch in Syria were altered by senior officials. An investigation into the alleged manipulation, controlled by Obama, has been opened.
He may complain that George Bush started the war in the Middle East but the truth is that Bush removed Saddam, who was suppressing the jihadists and protecting the Christians. In doing that, he set the stage for members of Islam State to invade the Middle East, spreading terror and death while rising to power.
Obama has had multiple chances to actually step forward and lead America straight to the heart of ISIS. The United States has feebly attacked but has not taken any definitive steps to end the threat and has never joined allies who are trying to do so.
When our long-time friend Egypt prepared to strike ISIS in an effort to destroy them, an Obama led United States declined to help them. “We are neither condemning nor condoning.” By not assisting Egypt, Obama caused a rift between the two nations that may never heal.
This rift can be nothing but a benefit to ISIS and they will continue to expand in northern Africa without strong resistance. Adding insult to injury, before he was blaming Turkey for funding the terrorist organization, Obama supported Turkey who was openly supporting the Muslim Brotherhood, enemies of Egypt.
At every critical juncture Obama has failed to act. He repeatedly attempts to portray a strong leader but does not have the spine for the part. It would be very simple to write him off as the crumbling leader he is but that would be too easy.
His true nature is the same we often see in bullies, tearing down the rest of the world to hide his own inadequacies. His treasonous behaviour has allowed ISIS to flourish, its hate and violence a reflection of him.
