Turkish forces, backed by the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and other allied Islamist groups, have killed 11 civilians in Al-Bab under the pretext of combating the terrorist organisation of ISIS, according to Syria’s official news agency, SANA.

At least 11 people, including children and women, have been killed in a fresh attack by the Turkish Army and the FSA in a residential neighbourhood in the ISIS-held city of Al-Bab.

The Syrian news agency adds that forces loyal to the Turkish regime have also caused serious material damage to homes and private property as well as to different infrastructure in the city.

Over 400 civilians have died in the battle for Al-Bab while the Turkish Army and aligned Syrian rebels are still trying to definitively break through ISIS’ defences in the city.
