BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 P.M.) – The United Nations (UN) has accused Turkey of committing ‘serious’ violations in the Kurdish-controlled areas of northern Syria, the AFP News Agency reported on Thursday.

This accusation by the U.N. comes just days after the Turkish Armed Forces and their rebel allies attacked both the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

Turkey entered the Syrian Conflict last September, when they sent their forces to capture the border-city of Jarabulus from the Islamic State (ISIS) forces.
